I always get rather excited when I find little ways to save a few dollars here and there. After finding these savings I like to share my little hidden gems with other people. In most cases, I have found that most people haven't found these little gems either.
Now for some, they feel they have better things to do with their time or their time is more valuable to spend doing some of the things to save a few dollars. Understandable!!
But if you are like me and you like small instant gratification, then in these weekly blogs I will teach you a few of the ways I have saved or earned a few dollars here and there.
So to start let's talk about an easy one, Fetch Rewards. So with Fetch Rewards all you do is after you go to the grocery store you simple use the app on your phone and snap a picture of the receipt and upload it.
To begin you will need to build a profile. If you want some bonus points for yourself and me, feel free to use my code when signing up.
All of these steps are easily done in the app. It's so simple, you really can't mess it up. You touch the camera on the screen and it will let you take a picture of the receipt. You can add as many sections as you need until you have the entire receipt pictured. The you push the submit option. Fetch Rewards will then send you back how many points you earned based on what you purchased. Items may earn bonus points. The least each upload earns is 25 points. I have received points from all grocery stores, the Farm store, CVS, and Walgreens.
I recently exchanged 25,000 of my points for a $25.00 Southwest Airlines giftcard. In the app you simple go to the rewards section and pick which reward you want to exchange points for and pick that option. Then you are emailed your giftcard code.
It costs one nothing more than the minimal time to scan the receipts and upload them. But why not get some reward for the items you just purchased?
Let me know in the comments if you sign up. Hopefully you can earn a few giftcards.
